Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are (Data Controller)

PWR is developed and operated by Oscar and Zac (contact: pwrpowerworkresults@gmail.com). As the data controllers, we are responsible for how your personal data is collected and used.

2. Information We Collect

PWR collects information you provide directly:

• Account information (email address) when you sign up.
• Workout data including exercises, sets, reps, and weights.
• Videos you record within the app.
• Profile information such as your name and whether you are a coach or athlete.
• Your date of birth, which we use to check you are 13 or over and keep on your account. If you are under 13, we do not create an account and do not keep the date you entered.
• Messages and replies exchanged between you and your coach within the app.
• Reports: if you report someone, or someone reports you, we keep who made the report, who it is about, what they told us, and a copy of any comment or training block reported.

3. Lawful Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following lawful bases (GDPR Article 6):

• Contract: to provide the core features of the app you signed up for.
• Consent: for optional features such as video recording and coach sharing. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Sync your workouts and videos across your devices.
• Provide coach-athlete features when you join a coach's roster.
• Display your training history and progress analytics.
• Review reports and keep users safe. We keep a report for as long as we need it to deal with the concern and any appeal, and we email the person who made it to confirm receipt and the outcome.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Storage) and locally on your device (SQLite). Google acts as a data processor on our behalf. By using PWR you acknowledge Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. Google provides a Data Processing Agreement compliant with GDPR.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your data is only shared with:

• Google Firebase, which powers our backend infrastructure.
• Coaches you explicitly join via an invite code. A coach can view the videos attached to your sets and can save a copy of them to their own device. You can leave a coach at any time from Settings, which ends their access to your account, but it does not remove any copy they have already saved.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the following rights:

• Right of Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: request correction of inaccurate data.
• Right to Erasure: delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. Your data is deleted immediately and permanently from PWR upon request. This cannot extend to a copy of a video that a coach has already saved to their own device, because that copy is outside PWR and we have no technical means to reach it. See section 8.
• Right to Data Portability: request your workout data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to Object: object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Right to Restrict Processing: request that we limit how we use your data.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, your account, workout data, videos, and all associated records are permanently removed from PWR immediately. Local data on your device is also wiped at the time of deletion.

Important limit on deletion. PWR lets a coach save a copy of your set videos to their own device. Once saved, that copy is no longer held by PWR or by Google Firebase, and deleting your account does not delete it. We cannot retrieve or erase it, and we cannot tell you whether a copy was made. If you would rather no copy of a video could ever be kept, do not attach videos to your sets while you are on a coach's roster. If you believe a coach has misused a saved video, contact us at pwrpowerworkresults@gmail.com and we will suspend the coach's account while we look into it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes within the app.
